How it works

  1. 1Pick the event, search cardsSearch the cards you are missing on the event page, or paste your deck list. You see right away who lends them there.
  2. 2Buy, trade or borrowYou see who has your cards in their binder. If a card is for sale, you buy it directly. You can trade card for card, with cash on top if you like. Borrowing is free among friends (friends & family). If something is missing, post a request.
  3. 3Meet, check, hand overHandover by QR code at the event or at a public place. Cards you buy or trade are yours; the other side only gets money after the handover. Borrowed cards go back at the agreed time.

When buying you pay right away, the seller only gets the money after the handover; if it does not happen, you get everything back. Borrowing among friends runs on trust, without protection by LeaseCards.

Sell, trade, lend your cards

Got cards sitting in a binder? Sell, trade or lend them.

You do not need a shop. You go to tournaments anyway: put your cards in your binder and bring them along. Handover and return happen right at the event, your address stays private.

  1. 1Fill your binderAdd your single cards with the number of copies and the card value, or paste a deck list.
  2. 2Tap “I'm in (with binder)”At the events you attend, or “Every week” for your local. There players see your cards to buy, trade and borrow.
  3. 3Confirm and hand overYou confirm every request yourself. Handover and return by QR code right at the event.

Selling: tick “Also for sale”, the card value is the price. The buyer pays at once and you get the price minus 4.9% after the handover in person. Trading works card for card, with cash on top if you like. Lending to friends is free, no monthly fee.

Who is behind it

I'm Musa from Offenbach. I played Yu-Gi-Oh! for years and have now started with Riftbound. Expensive shipping, cards that did not arrive in time for the tournament, lost letters and cards that lost their value after a banlist: playing the meta was punished. Tournaments should not be pay to win. That is why LeaseCards exists, for players who need their cards on time for the event, and for collectors who want to turn their hobby into money.
