Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded, which is the day you accept the lender's offer in the app. For a rental with a deposit the amount is only reserved on your card at the handover; nothing is saved or charged before. For a card rental the period does not end before you have received the cards and fourteen days have passed after that.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including the deposit, or release a reservation on your card, without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

If you have already received the cards, you must return them to the lender without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day you inform us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you return the cards before the fourteen days have expired. The return takes place with the lender at a public place agreed with them; you bear the direct cost of returning them. We may refuse the reimbursement until the cards have been returned or you have provided proof that you returned them. You are only liable for a loss in value of the cards if it results from handling that was not necessary to check their condition, properties and function. Normal play wear does not count.

If you asked for the services (mediation, payment processing and the loan of the cards) to begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us or the lender an appropriate amount. It corresponds to the share of the services already provided up to the time you inform us of your withdrawal, compared with the total scope of the services under the contract. For a rental it is based on the time you already had the cards.

When you pay you expressly ask us to begin performance before the withdrawal period has ended. You confirm there that you know your right of withdrawal expires for a contract for services (here: mediation and payment processing) once we have fully performed the service, and that until then you pay the amount described above if you withdraw.

Independently of the statutory right of withdrawal you can cancel an accepted rental free of charge in its conversation until the handover (Terms § 12). This does not limit your statutory right: if you exercise it in time, the rules of this notice apply.
